Clockwork Watch: The Arrival

Clockwork Watch: Breakaway

The Arrival introduces the amazing Steampunk world of Clockwork Watch. The story is told through the eyes of Janav Ranbir, an 8 year old Indian boy who comes to England with his parents at the invitation of Queen Victoria.

In The Arrival, the first novel, we meet Janav's father - Chan Ranbir - a leading kinetic engineer from Calcutta University and mastermind of a new technology powering the production of Clockwork Servants.

Medium: Watercolour, gouache, ink, pencil.
58 page graphic novel, full-colour.

Chan Ranbir's work starts to bring a much needed hope to an ailing British society, and in a country where homemade steam-driven wonders are beginning to flourish, Chan cracks the mystery of self-generating energy, which is to be used as a power source for clockwork servants, or 'Clocks'; tireless robotic helpers created to make life easier for humanity. Instead, life becomes infinitely more difficult.
Medium: Watercolour, gouache, ink, pencil.
50 page graphic novel, full-colour.

Clockwork Watch: Tick Tock IPA #1

Clockwork Watch: Tick Tock IPA #2

Tick Tock IPA is a continuation of the Clockwork Watch story, it pre-dates our second book "Breakaway", and is about the liberation of Clockworks from servitude. It has certain parallels with the abolition of slavery or the fight for civil rights. Clockwork Servants finally get a voice in Tick Tock IPA, when Ervin accidentally breaks free from his programming.

A foreword by author Robert Rankin helps to set the scene, and gives an insight into the world of Clockwork Watch, and background to this project.

Medium: Watercolour, gouache, pencil.
32 page graphic novel, full-colour.

A Clockwork automaton falls into a brewery's fermentation tank, and gains sentience. Exactly the opposite of what would happen to a human being. He finds himself in a world sick to the core, searching for a miracle. Could he be the answer? Is he ready for such responsibility? And why isn't anyone asking him what he wants?

The world has a vested interest in knowing how this anomaly came to be, but Ervin has other things on his mind, such as the freedom of his fellow Clockworks.

Medium: Watercolour, gouache, pencil.
96 page graphic novel, full-colour.
